Oh good, an easy question to start with!
I most definitely would prefer to have messy hair and nice make-up- I chose to nearly every day!
To me messy hair and nice make-up gives off the impression that you are not so made up and high maintenance as both nice hair and nice make-up for the day time can be seen as making too much effort.
However, if you check out juicystar07's take on this question on her youtube channel, you'll see that she makes a very valid counter argument! Unfortunately I am much more adept at make-up than hair primping and will stick to my natural untamed mane for now...
2.Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?
This is definitely a harder question for me!
However after an imaginary debate in my head I have gone for have my eyelashes fall out. (Wow that's painful even to propose!)
My reasoning is this- although I have very fair eyebrows which aren't the fullest babies you've ever seen in your life, I feel that eyebrows really add shape and definition to your face. Bad eyebrows are very noticeable if unkempt or a completely uncomplimentary shade to your hair colour. So imagine how awful it would be to not even have any!!
It is also possible to apply false lashes- there are many convincingly natural ones out there for you to try and you'd also not have to worry about mascara some days. It's a toughy as I look a million times better with just a swipe of mascara but hey ho, the question's gotta be answered...
3.Would you rather be forced to shop at only MAC or Sephora for the rest of your life?
Seeing as I live in the UK, practically I would have to say M.A.C...
However if I had the choice of both in my country (or we swapped Seophora with and English equivalant) I might just go with Sephora...
The price range and variety of brands is what swayed me on this one.
Although the Sephora on the Champs-Elysees in Paris sells M.A.C too so for those lucky enough to live in my favourite city, you can hoave the best of both worlds! Unfortunately I don't think I could make the trip ( however close our french neighbours are *bonjour*) just to defy the question, "siiiigh".
4.Would you rather wear lipgloss/lipliner look or 80's perm?
So pretty much of a no brainer here...
I would go for the 80's perm no doubt!
There is something about the lipgloss/lipliner look that just makes my skin crawl, to me this is worse than an obvious foundation line (see question below!) as I feel the lipgloss/lipliner look is almost a conscious decision whereas a foundation line is just poo blending or forgetfulness!
I could rock an 80's perm easy, my hair is inclined that way any how and bringing them back in to fashion would be way easier than persuading someone that clown lips were sexy...
5.Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?
hmmmm... overdone blush for sure.
In my mind an obvious foundation line is exactly what is says on the tin... obvious! For some reason it is drilled into all our brains (including many of my male friends) that an unblended foundation line is a no no and signifies lack of care and attention.
However overdone blush to me can be see as a statement just like a heavy dark eye is. Also blush is one of those products that I find ok to fade over the course of the day whereas a foundation line is more likely to stay obvious like a shining beacon of incompetency.
6.Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?
oh dear...
Neither look really works for me (yeah Hattie cause they work for everyone else!). If pushed I would go for MC Hammer pants for comfort and minimal flesh on show! I couldn't risk the oh so fetching camel toe look *yuck*.
Please can we move on before I cry thinking about it? OK? Thanks :)
7.Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird tan lines that can't be covered?
Similar to the foundation line I think...
I would go fo the wierd tan lines that can't be covered.
Is it just me, or do some tan lines look quite sexy? It also shows off your natural tan in a way as you can compare original colour with your tan! Ok ok so I'm being a bit wierd but there must be more pros for this than an orange-y spray tan.
To me orange-y spray tan screams "I didn't go to a good salon and can't rely on my natural colour or ability to tan'. I don't mean to be snobby about this and as a fair skinned girl I'm all for enhancing your colour/tan for a healthier appearance. However if this is done you need either good quality or reliable products/ a trust worthy salon.
8.Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair colour?
Both options are utterly devastating!
However I plump for the bad haircut. Once you're over the initial shock and heart broken stage, in all honesty we can make a bad haircut work for us.
There are ways around a dodgy cut such as updos clips and hairbands of the like. Not much can be said for a bad hair colour. Although there is the option of re dying this will eventually ruin your hair thus worsening the situation. The only other way to hide a hideous colour is a hat and that's as much of a tell tale sign as a crappy colour!
9.Would you rather have youtube or twitter taken away forever?
ooooooh, interesting...
I would go for twitter be taken away as I don't update much at the moment and have facebook for that!
However I really enjoying keeping up to date with all sorts of youtubers from beauty and fashion gurus to vloggers and singers.
Why don't you check some of them out and let them know I sent you:

10. Would you rather give up using makeup brushes or mascara?
Easy peasy!
Make-up brushes for sure I could live without more than mascara!
Like I mentioned earlier, just a coat of mascara works wonders for me and literally transforms my blear eyed self in the morning! Make-up brushes arenot needed forso many things (or are possible to be skipped!) as long as you have a clean finger. Concealer, cream blush/eyeshadow/highlighter all benefit from a body temp applicator. Liquid Foundation benefits also and can be blended well with your hands to. Although powders are harder to manipulate, if your foundation was cream to powder you can achieve that effect too!
I hoped you enjoyed this- it's a longer post than anticipated, but I got a bit carried away! :)
Hattie
